THIS STORY

Uncle Ho Tuckshop @Pasir Panjang

New area to explore near my hood! So happy to find this quiet yet bright restaurant serving hearty Vietnamese food. The floor length window, strings of light and long tables made it felt like a welcoming canteen that friends usually hangout at.

Bun Cha ($13.90)

One of my favorite Vietnamese food for sure. Nothing beats the crazy intense flavor of syrup and fish sauce seasoned meatballs and belly slices that are grilled till nicely caramelised. Won't say this is mind-blowingly good but can't go wrong with this.

Garlic roast Pork Belly Banh Mi ($8.90)

Still find it fascinating how the baguette can be so crunchy! The mix of sauces, seasoned meats and crunchy vegs makes this one of my favorite sandwiches in the world.

Vietnamese Summer Spring Roll ($8.50)

Another tasty yet healthy snack that I always order coz it doesn't make you feel as guilty to chow down these hehe.

I remember it was a rainy day. Kinda nice to just stare out and watch the rain beat on the pavement. Very chill ambience in a quiet neighbourhood. Definitely a great place to hang out with friends over a hearty meal.
