Spize & Salted Caramel @Bukit Timah

Another blissful day with nature and food at Bukit Timah. Think I love this neighborhood because it has this homey, laid back vibes.

Spize

For lunch, we had a mini hike along rifle range in order to reach this classy family restaurant in Temasek Club. I rmb I randomly found Temasek club after a hike at Bukit Timah and was totally hooked by how it's situated in the middle of the lush greens. Saw Spize and immediately made a mental note that I must dine here someday coz I love a sight of nature with my food hehe.

It also serves a variety of cuisine including local favourites! We opted for CKT ($11.90) and Kampong Fried Rice ($10.90) to get a taste of home!

Honestly the food wasn't super impressive, but at least the CKT wasn't those crazy sweet type. Fried rice was abit too salty but at least the key components of kangkung, anchovies and sambal are there! Portion was huge! We couldn't finish both dishes despite me constantly digging into both dishes.

So glad to catch up with this lady at this pretty restaurant! Think this is a great place for any type of meetup and there's so much on the menu to choose from.

We were stuffed! Totally made sense to take a walk before our next round!

Our dessert place was also somewhere that I have made a mental note to visit! Love the earthy tones.

Salted Caramel

Let's have ice cream!

Ordered a toasty warm waffle with double scoops of ice cream $12.90. Got Ispahan (rose) and Roasted Pistachio. Ispahan is just a beautiful flavor, roasted Pistachio was intense! If you like nutty with an almost like a delicious potato chips kind of flavor.

Closer look. In line with the name of the shop, there's salted caramel!

Waffle was good anyway, so fluffy and goes super well with the ice cream. It still has a crunch despite being schmeared with ice cream.
