CMPB and Red Sparrow at Dempsey Hill

My first visit to Dempsey Hill after N years in SG and so blessed to be able to feast throughout the evening.

First went for evening drinks at CMPB. Awesome drinks and bar bites.

Petition for every bar to have Mala Fries ($15). This has to be one of the best thing I had in 2020! So delicious. It's super spicy, salty, very addictive and I just can't stop reaching for it.

Duck Thin Crust Pizza ($27) was delicious too. Can't go wrong with duck and hoisin sauce really. The crust was both crunchy and still has a bit of chew.

White Wine Sangria ($17). I'm usually not a white wine person but this is so easy to drink and taste beautiful with all the citrus notes. Officially declaring my love for Sangria.

After the awesome drinks, we had dinner at Red Sparrow, a beautiful Vietnamese restaurant just a minute away from CMPB. Very extensive menu and we had a feast again!

Assorted Spring rolls ($25)

Got the fresh ones with shrimp and cured sausages as well as the deep fried one. Love the sauces, they are delicious. Can't go wrong.

Banh Xeo ($19)

Pancake with loads of stuffings like pork shrimp mushroom beansprouts

Bun Cha ($21)

My go-to Vietnamese food really. The caramelised grilled pork is so goood. Damn salty I know but the charred and caramel flavor just makes the entire thing so good. The slightly tangy pickles and dipping sauce adds another dimension of refreshing flavor.
