Cafe Melba and Bread Yard @Fusionopolis

Chill day out at the futuristic yet laid back district of Fusionopolis, also known as the research, tech and media hub of Singapore. I used to do my internship here, always loved how the buildings look very futuristic, unlike packed lego blocks of buildings in CBD, there's just much more fluid shapes, more spaces, interceptions of concrete and lush greens.

First stop, Cafe Melba at Mediapolis which has this super laid back brunch vibes. Turns out the cafe aims to serve Melbourne style bunch fare. Gotta say the menu looks absolutely delicious already. It's brunch food but, not your usual eggs benedict.

Three little pigs - $20

Always love a meaty pizza with savory sauce and crunchy crust. Pepperoni, ham and bacon. Seriously my favorites.

Cloppini seafood stew - $28

This was really tasty. Scallops, fish, mussels and prawns. It's all the seafood that I loveee in a hearty tomato stew. Super savory and totally cleaned the plate.

Really love the wide open spaces here

Always up for coffee and desserts on weekend. Walked from mediapolis to Bread Yard at fusionopolis. The cafe feels more like a place to get caffeine fix and casual chats over coffee and baked goods.

Pain au chocolat - $3.50 and Lychee cruffin - $5.00

Seriously, my favorite cafe baked goods have to be French pastries. So fluffeh crunchy and buttery and more importantly it's too much work to bake them myself that's why I love a cafe with these.

Latte - $5.00

Simple and good

This may not be Paris, but feels like a really blissful afternoon.
