Level Up @Clarke Quay
An alternative to dancing, Level Up is a bar for everything else fun. Bright vibes, live music, arcade games and drinks all under one roof. I find this super therapeutic for group outings after work. In fact, you'll catch loads of people in their office attire on a Friday night. Think some of them are even company team outings. I like how bright the space was, unlike usual bars and clubs, just feels very fun and vibrant. If you have that one friend who doesn't like to club, maybe this place would be a great option to drink up and enjoy a good time!
How it works? There's no cover charge. Get free tokens for the video games when you purchase drinks from the bar. We got 5 from one tower of Asahi beer (SGD 78). Alternatively, you may also buy tokens separately. There are beer pong tables which do note require tokens, but from what I observed, they seem to be occupied by the same group of people and I cant figure out whether they reserved for it or those people are just hogging the tables.
That aside, the neon lights within the premise are pretty instagrammable, don't miss the opportunity! Especially the iconic 吃喝玩乐 at the entrance!
Started with a game of pool (which is free). Which we truly sucked at.
For pool tables, there's a whiteboard to write names but apparently nobody honors it. You have to speak to whoever thats playing and ask for the next round. The guy who was playing didn't hand it over easily, we had to play one game with him and obviously he won haha. But good effort from Winson, the rep!

Enjoyed so much with this bunch, thanks for the spontaneous decision for second round!
On a side note, the place can get a bit noisy when the singers perform live music. But it was still good to just wave your heads to all the hit songs. Thumbs up for the choice of songs including favorites from Bruno Mars.
